Foot & Ankle

These joints are simply amazing. The feet and ankles have to handle the entire weight of the human body, but they are some of the smallest joints we have in our bodies! For this reason, they become susceptible to injury and arthritis.

Foot pain can be excruciating with each step. If you are able to walk, it’s no fun being reminded with each step that something isn’t the way it should be.

The foot and ankle often get injured with high impact activities such as running, which is essential to most sports. This includes ball sports such as football and soccer. Also, other athletes, such as dancers who rely on their feet for their competition, see these injuries often. The constant and repetitive pounding on the ground eventually takes it’s toll on these joints.
